Greers Coal is the oldest surviving coal business in the city of Lisburn. The successful family run business, was established in 1930 by Thomas Leonard Greer and passed down to his son, Norman Greer in the fifties. The present owner, William Greer (grandson of founder) took over the business in the eighties.
The original coal yard was located in Broomhedge, but was relocated to it’s present larger premises a few years ago.
